JKT (Japan–Korea–Taiwan) Conference on Obesity 2025 – Taipei
Theme: The Power of Incretins: Shaping the Future of Obesity Treatment

Dear colleagues and friends,

On behalf of the Taiwan Association for the Study of Obesity (TMASO), it is our great honor and pleasure to welcome you to Taipei for the Japan–Korea–Taiwan (JKT) Conference on Obesity 2025. This annual tri-national meeting—rotating among Japan, Korea, and Taiwan—has long embodied the spirit of scientific collaboration, cultural exchange, and enduring friendship among our three nations.

This year’s theme, “The Power of Incretins: Shaping the Future of Obesity Treatment,” reflects the remarkable advances in incretin-based therapies that are transforming the landscape of obesity and metabolic disease management. We believe this timely topic will inspire stimulating discussions, innovative research ideas, and cross-border collaborations that move us closer to a new era of precision and compassion in obesity care.

As the host nation, TMASO is delighted to provide a platform for leading experts, clinicians, and young investigators from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan to share insights, strengthen partnerships, and explore the latest developments in the science and practice of obesity medicine.

We warmly invite all participants to engage actively in the sessions and also to experience the beauty, hospitality, and cultural richness of Taipei—a city where tradition meets innovation.

May this conference not only deepen our scientific understanding but also reaffirm our shared commitment to advancing health and well-being throughout Asia.

With our warmest welcome and best wishes for a successful and memorable meeting,

Prof. Dr. LIN, WEN-YUAN
President, Taiwan Association for the Study of Obesity (TMASO)
